This Monday, take a moment to think about all the things you are grateful for. It could be family, could be loved ones, could be your career, that you went to a nice restaurant the other day, or even just for that glass of your favorite beverage. Acknowledge all of these positives in your life, one by one. Take as much time as you need.
Now, take a moment to consider the most stressful aspects of your life. Don’t let the negative feelings consume you when you do… simply acknowledge and release them. Instead, look for the positive in all of these situations. If work is causing you distress, what else is it doing for you? Is it building your resiliency?
How are the events in your life building your character?
Can you use these moments to better yourself and your attitude toward life?
Even the times in which there isn’t much you can do, be hopeful for what you can accomplish.
